MADE OF SUNSHINE, EARTH, & HARD WORK.
Nature demonstrates near-infinite solutions to problem solving. We strive to create eyewear that is part of the landscape, not just passing through it. Our bio-based resin frames are durable, lightweight, strong and withstand the harshest conditions – all while reducing our carbon footprint.
The bio-resin originates as the castor bean (Ricinus communis), which is widely grown all over the world. The resin is used in NATIVE sunglass and goggle frames. With a high strength-to-weight ratio, our frames are made of some of the lightest and strongest materials available.
WASTE NOT, WANT NOT.
We pack just what is needed to get Native Eyewear into your hands and into the backcountry. At every turn, we take the same approach to packaging our product as we do packing our backpacks; each necessary component should serve as many functions as necessary and be constructed as efficiently as possible. Our packing materials are made using recycled shopping bags, plastic water bottles and recyclable cardboard.
